Trainspotting: An abandoned train station in the middle
of the desolate playa, Emanuel Katz's piece provides an aural experience as well. Crickets chirp,
trains thunder by, and unseen passengers board and unboard while one waits. In the same spirit,
I made this photo by setting a long exposure, walking into the picture, waiting on the bench for a few moments,
then walking away to leave a photographic ghost waiting in my absence.
