They say that the only certainties in life are death and taxes. I'd like to add paperwork to that list: from a civil-minded viewpoint, if there's anything worth doing these days, it's sure to involve paperwork. What fascinated me was how involved the couples were with each other when it came to even even mundane details such as like this--even though only one person at a time could be filling out the form, nearly every couple I saw filled the paperwork out together.
